Hello from St. Ignatius, Montana! I’m trying to get this published quickly so I can get back on the trail, so it’s just going to be a flurry of pictures. I’ll try to update with more narrative next time, but needless to say the big highlight this time was having Wendy surprise me on trail to spend a few days together as I walked from Washington, through the Idaho panhandle and into Montana! I’m familiar with Plains, MT. Not too far down the road from there is Paradise, MT, where there used to be a railroad crosstie treating plant and storage yard. I used to visit that plant frequently back in the mid 80s. Thanks for posting progress on your trek. Stay safe!
