Quick Update

A big group of hikers escaping the rain, staying at The Notch Hostel, yours truly sitting at back, right,
A parting view of the Green Mountains

This update will be brief as I’m pushed for time. Rain and mud have marked these first few days in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The hiking here is tough and my daily mileage reflects that, especially in the rain as the climbs and descents are very steep and mostly traversing rock faces. I’m definitely feeling exhaustion setting in, but with only 360 miles remaining, there is also a lot of adrenaline realizing the end is within weeks, barring any major issues.

Cramming in to the town/resupply shuttle van.

Another day, another interesting walk bridge

A great sign for our divided times.
Love it!
Country roads like this always draw me in

As you’ll note from several of these photos, I’ve been near a bunch of other hikers recently and it’s been great fun getting to meet so many people, especially when we’re all washed out from rain and escape to the same hostels to dry off and clean up. The rain has prevented most videos and pictures but I’ve included a few below and there are a several new videos (125-129) on my YouTube channel as well. Love and best wishes to you all! Max
