I think Jean’s favorite is lemon bars anyway, so this was a natural choice for her. She usually lets me sample everything she makes but I suppose she didn’t dare on this one. Darn – next time I’ll be first in line. Thanks, Jean, for taking part.
Um, your recollection is only partly accurate. In fact, I should have added the ability to attach photos to comments because I have a great picture of the three of us wolfing them down in the kitchen, giggling.
OK, I added in the attachment capability, so see the attached photo and smile 🙂
No evidence of the lemon bars but my recollection is that this photo was taken during the “Lemon Bar Incident.”
Auntie Jean: you were the brave one to do the first submission and I’m so glad you did. So many years later and other than the shade of your hair, you look like you haven’t changed a bit! Best wishes to you, Dick, the boys and the whole extended family! Love from Seattle!

FYI — I did not partake of the Lemon Bars. Ewww.
Mike, do you remember the ‘lemon bar incident’? Mom made some for some event, and I believe you and I ate them all and she was livid!!!
